Contracts Manager

Contracts Manager, Plumbing, £40,000 - £50,000 DOE, Hamilton, Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong plumbing background to join our Maintenance Division. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Plumber, Plumbing Supervisor or Plumbing Contracts professional looking to use their technical expertise in a senior management position.

Responsibilities

• Manage plumbing and wider property maintenance contracts
• Lead and coordinate Plumbers, Engineers and other trades
• Oversee reactive plumbing repairs and planned preventative maintenance
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and service partners
• Monitor SLA’s, KPI’s, costs, quality and contract performance
• Review plumbing works, quotations, variations and technical requirements
• Carry out site inspections and ensure work meets required standards
• Manage customer relationships and resolve technical issues
• Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety, legislation and industry standards

Requirements

• Strong plumbing background with relevant trade qualification
• Completed plumbing apprenticeship
• Previous experience in Plumbing Contracts, Maintenance Management, Supervision or Project Management
• Experience managing plumbers, engineers and subcontractors
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, repairs and maintenance
• SMSTS, CDM and IOSH training
• Good understanding of SLA’s, KPI’s and contract management
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving licence
