Contracts Manager

CNX Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of reactive maintenance contracts across Central Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware and operationally strong Contracts Manager with experience in housing association, social housing, repairs and maintenance, or property services.

The Role

You will take responsibility for the successful delivery of reactive maintenance contracts, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, commercially and to a high standard.

The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day operations, manage client relationships and coordinate teams across multiple housing association contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of reactive maintenance contracts across Central Scotland
• Oversee subcontractors, trades and operational teams
• Manage programmes, workloads and service delivery
• Maintain strong relationships with housing association clients and stakeholders
• Monitor contract performance, KPIs and SLAs
• Ensure works are completed within agreed timescales and budgets
• Manage variations, costs and commercial performance
• Deal with client queries, complaints and escalations professionally
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality and company procedures
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and contract profitability
• Provide regular reporting on contract performance

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Contracts Manager / Senior Contracts Manager 
• Strong experience within reactive maintenance or repairs
• Background working with housing associations, social housing or local authority contracts
• Strong understanding of KPIs, SLAs and contract performance
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Ability to manage multiple teams and workloads simultaneously
• Commercial awareness and strong organisational skills
• A proactive approach to problem solving and service delivery
• Full UK driving licence
