Contracts Manager

You will take ownership of a portfolio of corporate contracts, ensuring suppliers deliver against contractual obligations while driving value for money, managing risk and supporting effective governance throughout the contract lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of corporate contracts from mobilisation through to exit.
- Leading contract change requests through governance processes and approval frameworks.
- Monitoring supplier performance, spend, compliance and contractual obligations.
- Identifying and mitigating contract risks, implementing performance improvement plans and Early Warnings where required.
- Undertaking contract compliance reviews and audits.
- Developing and maintaining contract management plans.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Ensuring contracts deliver value for money and support organisational objectives.
You'll have:
- Proven experience managing corporate contracts.
- Strong analytical, commercial and negotiation skills.
- Experience leading contract change control processes.
- Knowledge of governance, assurance and contract compliance.
- Experience working within publicly funded organisations or central government.
- Understanding of procurement legislation, including UCR/PCR.
- Experience managing supplier performance and contract compliance.
- Strong IT skills, including Excel, SAP, Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Access and CEMAR.
