The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Contracts Manager looking to take ownership of a prestigious, high-profile contract with one of the UK's leading Facilities Management providers?
We're recruiting for an exceptional opportunity to oversee the delivery of Hard FM services across a large, complex estate in the West End of Glasgow. This is a flagship contract, requiring a proactive and commercially focused Contracts Manager who thrives on building strong client relationships, leading high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional service standards.

The Role
Reporting into the Senior Operations Manager, you will take full responsibility for the operational and commercial management of the contract, ensuring all services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual obligations.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, supervisors, and specialist subcontractors while acting as the key point of contact for the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full operational responsibility for the successful delivery of the contract.
- Lead and develop engineering teams, supervisors, and subcontract partners.
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Ensure all contractual KPIs and SLAs are consistently achieved or exceeded.
- Drive operational performance through effective planning and resource management.
- Manage contract budgets, financial forecasting, and monthly reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, and maximise profitability.
- Oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and small works delivery.
- Ensure statutory compliance across all building services and engineering disciplines.
- Promote a positive Health & Safety culture and ensure compliance with company procedures and legislation.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, team meetings, and staff development activities.
- Support business development by identifying opportunities for additional works and contract growth.
- Produce operational reports and attend regular client review meetings.
About You
We're looking for an experienced Contracts Manager who has a proven track record within the Facilities Management industry.
Essential
✔ Previous experience as a Contracts Manager within Facilities Management
✔ Strong background managing Hard FM contracts
✔ Experience managing large engineering teams across multi-disciplinary services
✔ Excellent commercial awareness with responsibility for contract budgets and P&L
✔ Strong client relationship and stakeholder management experience
✔ Proven ability to deliver against KPIs and service level agreements
✔ Excellent leadership and people management skills
✔ Strong understanding of statutory compliance and Health & Safety legislation
✔ Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
⭐ Technical background within Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services
⭐ IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
⭐ Experience managing prestigious or high-profile estates
⭐ CAFM system experience
