This expanding subcontractor operates across the country delivering projects across the commercial and civil sector, including shopfitting and groundworks for major blue-chip and Tier 1 contractors. The business is actively growing and is looking to pivot into main contracting in the next few years, so now they are adding to their close-knit team with this fantastic opportunity.

As Groundworks Contracts Manager, you will oversee multiple projects at any one time, ensuring programmes are followed, resources are organised and any project issues are dealt with effectively. The role will involve regular communication with clients, site teams and internal stakeholders, alongside nationwide site travel depending on project requirements.

Therefore, the ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with proven experience managing groundworks projects and is looking for a long-term opportunity to progress their career and is happy and willing to cover sites nationwide.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious subcontractor where you'll work with a plethora of blue-chip and Tier 1 contractors on groundwork projects, while having a clear pathway to senior leadership.

The Role:

• Managing nationwide groundworks projects
• Managing around 5 projects concurrently depending on value
• Organising labour, resource and materials for upcoming projects
• Overseeing RAMS and programs to ensure projects are where they should be
• Based out of their office in Solihull with nationwide site travel

The Person:

• Project or Contracts Manager
• Experience managing groundworks projects
• IT knowledge (Excel and Bluebeam)
• Commutable distance to their office in Solihull, with frequent nationwide site travel
