Lead Major Engineering Projects Across the UK's Critical Infrastructure
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Manager to join one of the UK's leading engineering and infrastructure organisations, delivering complex design and build projects across the water, utilities and industrial sectors.

The Role
You'll be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple engineering contracts, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with operational teams, clients and senior leadership, you'll provide commercial oversight, manage project performance and drive continuous improvement across your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the safe and successful delivery of engineering and infrastructure projects
- Manage project programmes, budgets and commercial performance
- Develop strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Identify project risks, opportunities and resource requirements
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards
- Support business development, tender submissions and future project opportunities
- Mentor and develop project teams to achieve outstanding performance
About You
We're looking for someone who can combine strong operational leadership with excellent commercial awareness.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience managing engineering or utility infrastructure contracts
- Strong commercial and contractual management skills
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Knowledge of NEC contracts, MEICA or electrical engineering (desirable)
- Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
