Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, our client, a rapidly expanding specialist Passive Fire Protection contractor, is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to join their operational team.
Our client is a specialist passive fire protection contractor with a strong reputation for delivering compliant, high-quality fire safety solutions across the UK. Having experienced significant growth over recent years, the business now delivers projects nationwide through regional operations and has successfully completed over 1,000 passive fire protection projects.
Working exclusively within the passive fire sector, they provide a comprehensive range of fire safety services to Tier 1 Main Contractors, Housing Associations, NHS Trusts, Universities, Facilities Management providers, Principal Designers and Local Authorities. Their projects span both occupied buildings and new build developments, with quality, compliance and client satisfaction at the forefront of everything they do.
The business is committed to delivering the highest standards of workmanship and compliance, with every project supported by comprehensive photographic records, third-party certification, O&M manuals and complete handover documentation, ensuring fully compliant and audit-ready project delivery.
The Role
As a Contracts Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing multiple passive fire protection projects from pre-start through to completion. The role offers genuine autonomy, allowing you to manage your own diary while overseeing projects safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest compliance standards.
Projects are delivered across a wide range of live environments, including:
- NHS hospitals and healthcare estates
- Universities and education facilities
- High-rise residential remediation programmes
- Commercial office developments
- Housing Association fire safety upgrades
- Industrial and logistics facilities
- Government and Local Authority buildings
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple passive fire protection projects from start to completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely on time and within budget.
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and client relationships.
- Monitor programme, quality and project performance through regular site visits.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, industry standards and certification requirements.
- Attend client meetings and provide project updates.
The Package
- £60,000 - £80,000 plus package (negotiable for the right individual)
