Contracts Manager – Specialist Internal Stonework
Location: Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire (Office Based)
Projects: London & Surrounding Counties
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + Package

Are you an experienced Contracts Manager with a background in internal stonework?

Our client is a well-established specialist stone contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality natural stone installations across commercial, high-end residential and heritage projects throughout London and the South East.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple stonework packages from inception through to completion.

The Role:

• Manage multiple internal stonework projects across London and the surrounding counties.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
• Attend client and site meetings with main contractors, architects and consultants.
• Monitor project progress, quality and programme.
• Resolve technical and on-site issues as they arise.
• Ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality and health & safety.
• Report regularly to senior management on project performance.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Contracts Manager within the specialist stonework industry.
• Strong knowledge of internal natural stone installations.
• Ideally started your career as a Stonemason or Stone Fixer before progressing into project or contract management.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence and happy to travel to sites across London and the surrounding counties.
• Able to work from the Bishop's Stortford office when not attending site.
