Contracts & Tenders Manager in Leicester, Leicestershire

Cure Talent is delighted to be partnered with a growing medical device supplier, supporting the appointment of a Contracts & Tenders Manager in a newly created role.

Working closely with the Sales Director, you will take ownership of NHS tenders, contracts and framework agreements, from identifying opportunities and preparing submissions through to managing ongoing obligations, extensions and renewals.

Joining a small, collaborative business, you'll have the opportunity to shape how this function operates, bringing structure to the tender process and helping the company secure and maintain access to NHS procurement opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and submission of NHS tenders and framework responses, coordinating input from commercial, regulatory and compliance colleagues.
• Manage tender portals, monitor upcoming opportunities and maintain a clear submission calendar.
• Oversee awarded contracts and frameworks, including performance reporting, variations, extensions and renewals.
• Coordinate supporting evidence for Carbon Reduction Plans, Evergreen assessments and modern slavery requirements.
• Maintain accurate contract records and provide practical guidance on framework rules, supplier obligations and commercial risks.

What will you need to be successful?

• Experience managing NHS contracts and frameworks, gained within the NHS or a healthcare supplier, with a clear understanding of supplier submission requirements.
• A track record of producing accurate tender responses and managing multiple deadlines.
• Familiarity with NHS procurement portals, such as Jaggaer and Find a Tender.
• Experience within medical devices or regulated healthcare supply, with an understanding of the regulatory and sustainability evidence required for tenders.
• Strong written communication, attention to detail and the confidence to work independently while coordinating colleagues across the business.

This is a remote-first opportunity with infrequent office visits. The scope is still developing, giving the successful candidate an opportunity to help shape the role around their experience and the needs of the business.
