About Applied Integration
Applied Integration is an established UK systems integrator based in Stokesley, North Yorkshire. We specialise in the design and delivery of complex automation and control solutions across a range of industries.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Controls Engineer to join our engineering team.
The Role
You will work on a variety of technically challenging automation projects, supporting projects from initial design and development through to testing and commissioning.
Key responsibilities include:
- PLC software design, programming and development
- HMI and SCADA development
- Working with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell and Siemens PLC systems
- Integration of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA and industrial equipment
- Industrial communications and networking
- Control system fault finding and troubleshooting
- FAT and SAT activities
- Supporting installation and commissioning
- Producing technical documentation and functional design specifications
- Working alongside electrical, mechanical, software and project engineering teams
Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong PLC and industrial automation experience
- Allen-Bradley / Rockwell experience
- Siemens PLC experience
- HMI and/or SCADA development experience
- Industrial control system integration experience
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- FAT, SAT and commissioning experience
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols
Experience with Mitsubishi, Schneider, Beckhoff, Omron, AVEVA/Wonderware, Ignition, SQL, OPC-UA, MQTT or EtherNet/IP would also be advantageous.
