Conveyancing Solicitor – Residential Property
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded law firm based in Leicester City Centre, who are looking to appoint a Conveyancing Solicitor to join their growing Residential Property team.
Whilst the firm is open regarding the level of post-qualification experience, they are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have strong practical experience dealing with Leasehold properties and New Build transactions.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and expanding firm where you will have the opportunity to manage a varied caseload and play a key role in the continued growth of the department.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, dealing with a broad range of property matters while delivering exceptional levels of client service.
The role will involve regular interaction with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, developers, management companies and other legal professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a diverse caseload of residential conveyancing matters.
  • Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
  • Managing new build transactions, including reviewing developer documentation and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Advising clients on all aspects of residential property law and conveyancing procedures.
  • Reviewing contracts, titles, searches, leases and associated documentation.
  • Liaising with third parties including estate agents, lenders, developers and management companies.
  • Identifying and resolving title defects and property-related issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and AML procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate file and case management records.
  • Contributing to the ongoing development and growth of the Residential Property department.
Essential Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive.
  • Experience independently managing a residential conveyancing caseload.
  • Strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions.
  • Proven experience handling leasehold property matters.
  • Experience dealing with new build purchases.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage a busy and varied workload.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
