We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Core Subject Supply Teachers to join our team and support schools across Reading. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers who are passionate about delivering engaging lessons and making a positive impact on students' learning.
The successful candidate will be confident teaching one or more core subjects, including English, Mathematics and Science, across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Follow lesson plans provided by the school and adapt where necessary.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies.
- Build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents where appropriate.
- Ensure safeguarding and student welfare remain a priority at all times.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching English, Maths and/or Science.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
- A commitment to raising standards and supporting student achievement.
- An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
