Our client, Eurovia, a trusted provider of highways services, is seeking a Cost Clerk to join their surfacing team. In this role, you will support the smooth running of projects by keeping cost information accurate, organised, and up to date. Working closely with commercial and operational colleagues, you will play an important part in helping the team maintain clear financial oversight and deliver successful outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate cost records for materials, plant, labour, and subcontractors
- Capture surfacing costs, including asphalt, planing works, and disposal
- Process goods received notes, delivery tickets, and haulage records
- Check and match supplier invoices against orders and agreed rates
- Support cost tracking across multiple surfacing schemes
- Assist with cost value reconciliation activities and reporting
- Collaborate with site and commercial teams to maintain aligned information
- Help prepare cost data for monthly reporting processes
- Contribute to consistent and reliable cost management practices
- Follow company procedures relating to health, safety, and environment
