Counterbalance Driver

Counterbalance Forklift Driver required for a Pallet company based in Horndon
 
•    Full time- permanent - 40 hours per week 
•    Monday-Friday - 0800 til 1700
 
Daily Duties
 
•    Daily unloading inbound stock (either curtain siders and sea containers),
•    Storing stock into correct locations 
•    managing periods of space shortages in our yard and warehouse with initiative, calm, and common-sense, due to the fact we are growing/outgrowing our existing site
•    order picking for daily  orders, preparing stacks of product for despatch (pallet wrap and/or banding, labelling etc.)
•    loading external hauliers and daily pallet network vehicles with the day’s orders.
 
Additional duties will include
 
•     regular stock-taking,
•    reporting of damages/issues to the office staff,
•    providing banksman guidance to visiting HGV drivers,
•    occasional jet-washing of old stock for orders,
