Counterbalance Flt Driver - 4 Crew in Grays, Essex

We are pleased to be recruiting a Counterbalance Forklift driver on behalf of our industry-leading client, who manufactures world-famous consumer household brands and personal hygiene products. • Location: Grays, West Thurrock, Essex, RM20 4AL
• Shift Pattern: 4-Crew shift pattern (Days: 06:00 to 18:00 / Nights: 18:00 to 06:00)
• Contract Type: Long-term assignment
• Pay Rate: £17.34 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance)

As a Counterbalance FLT Driver, you will play a critical role in the warehouse operation. Your daily tasks will include:

• Movement of loaded pallets from palletization to wrapper, wrapper to floor spots, and floor spots to conveyor infeed.
• Efficient movement of empty pallets from rack to floor.
• Operating the wrapper machine as required.
• Maintaining high standards of safety and area cleanliness.
• Ensuring accurate placement of pallets in designated marked floor spots.
• Maintaining a high level of awareness when working in pedestrian-interface areas.

To succeed in this role, you should be a self-motivated professional with the following requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience operating a Counterbalance FLT.
• Must hold an in-date, accredited license (RTITB, ITSSAR, or AITT).
• Ability to commit to the long-term, 4-crew shift pattern.
• Possess basic computing skills and effectively follow operational instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A proactive, energetic, and "can-do" attitude with a results-driven mindset.
