Country Manager (Ireland) - Flooring

Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Manager to lead the Irish sales operation for a leading global manufacturer of commercial flooring solutions.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with responsibility for managing an established sales team, developing key customer relationships and driving sales growth across the whole of Ireland.

• Lead, coach and develop a team of 4 Business Account Managers covering Ireland.
• Take full responsibility for an established €7.5 million annual sales turnover, with a focus on delivering sustainable growth.
• Promote a comprehensive portfolio of commercial flooring solutions, including Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT), acoustic flooring, vinyl flooring, carpet tiles and textile flooring.
• Drive a highly project-focused sales strategy, targeting Architects, Main Contractors, Flooring Contractors and Distributors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, specifiers and major customers.
• Identify, develop and secure major commercial projects from initial specification through to completion.
• Manage sales budgets, forecasts, KPIs and overall team performance.
• Develop and implement a clear sales strategy to maximise market share and identify new business opportunities.

Person

• Proven experience in a senior sales management or leadership role within construction materials.
• Strong understanding of specification-led, project-based sales.
• Experience managing and developing a field-based sales team.
• Established relationships with architects, contractors, distributors or other key stakeholders within the Irish construction market.
• Commercially astute, with experience managing significant sales budgets and delivering against targets.
• A strategic thinker who is equally comfortable leading from the front and supporting the team in securing major projects.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
