JOB DESCRIPTION – COVER SUPERVISOR

• Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Deliver pre-set work and instructions provided by teaching staff.
• Ensure students remain focused on their learning and complete assigned tasks.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy.
• Create a positive and productive learning environment.
• Support the school's policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety, and equality and diversity.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
• Undertake break, lunchtime, or corridor supervision duties where required.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

PERSON DETAILS –COVER SUPERVISOR

• Recent Graduate interested in going into teaching or experienced Cover Supervisor

• Good A Levels & GCSEs across the board
• You must be able to engage and motivate the students
• Commitment and ambition to succeed is key throughout
