Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Bolton to recruit a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor for an immediate start.This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants, sports coaches, youth workers, or anyone with experience managing groups of young people who is looking to gain valuable experience in a secondary school setting.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring that students remain engaged with the work set and maintaining a positive learning environment. No planning or marking is required, making this an ideal role for those looking to develop classroom experience before progressing into teaching.

You will:

* Deliver pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
* Support students with their learning and maintain engagement.
* Follow school policies and procedures.
* Create a safe, positive and productive learning environment.

* Experience working with young people in any capacity.
* Confidence leading groups and managing behaviour.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
