Cover Supervisor- Liverpool

We are working in partnership with a number of well-established secondary schools across Liverpool, including schools within a highly respected multi-academy trust, to recruit enthusiastic and dependable Cover Supervisors. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience working with young people in the UK to gain valuable classroom experience, support student achievement, and become part of welcoming and supportive school communities.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subject areas in the absence of the class teacher
• Ensure students remain engaged, focused, and productive throughout lessons
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies and expectations
• Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student engagement, progress, and behaviour
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to help maintain a positive learning environment
• Support students' academic progress, wellbeing, and personal development

• Confidence in leading a classroom and working independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, adaptable, and positive approach to supporting students and staff
• A strong commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and promoting the welfare of children and young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
