Horizon Teachers are currently working with a co-educational Secondary School in Tower Hamlets, East London, who are looking to hire an experienced Cover Supervisor on a long-term basis with an ASAP start.
This Cover Supervisor job in Tower Hamlets will be offering a competitive daily rate of £95 - £115 per day, dependent on experience.
The successful applicant will have previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor within a secondary school and be confident independently managing classrooms across KS3-KS5. You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned work in the absence of the regular classroom teacher, maintaining strong behaviour standards and ensuring pupils remain engaged and on task throughout lessons.

  • An experienced Cover Supervisor with previous experience working within a secondary school
  • Someone confident supervising classes independently across KS3-KS5
  • Those with excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
  • A confident and adaptable individual who is comfortable covering lessons across a range of different subjects
  • Someone capable of following pre-planned lessons and ensuring pupils remain engaged and productive throughout the lesson
  • A reliable, professional and enthusiastic individual who can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Someone available to interview immediately with a view to starting ASAP
