Cover Supervisor – Secondary School

Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable educator looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity?
We’re seeking a committed Cover Teacher to join a supportive secondary school on a temporary basis.

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects to secondary students. You’ll ensure classes run smoothly in the absence of the regular teacher, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.

• Deliver pre-set lessons to classes across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Maintain classroom control and a positive learning atmosphere

• Support students with their learning and behaviour

• Follow school policies and procedures

• Provide feedback to teaching staff after cover lessons

• Previous experience working in a secondary school setting

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Confidence teaching across a range of subjects

• Suitable for Cover Supervisors or experienced Teaching Assistants ready to step up
