Cover Supervisor

We are looking for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to work in a secondary school within the NW4 area. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong classroom presence and excellent behaviour management skills to support students and maintain a positive learning environment.

Contract Details
· Location: NW4 area
· Position: Cover Supervisor
· Start Date: ASAP
· Duration: Ongoing
· Contract Type: Temporary
· Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm
· Pay Rate: Up to GBP110 per day

The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
· Supervise classes during teacher absences.
· Deliver pre-set work provided by the class teacher.
· Ensure students remain focused and engaged with their learning.
· Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
· No planning or marking required - all lesson resources will be provided.

Requirements
· Strong behaviour management skills are essential.
· Previous classroom, teaching, tutoring, or cover experience is highly desirable.
· Ability to confidently manage challenging behaviour and maintain a calm classroom environment.
· Excellent communication and organisational skills.
· Transport Information
· The school has excellent transport links and is easily accessible by public transport.
· No parking available onsite, so candidates should be prepared to use alternative transport arrangements.

To Be Eligible
You must:
· Have the Right to Work in the UK.
· Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
· Provide two professional references covering the last two years.
