Cover Supervisor

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a successful and inclusive secondary school for a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to start immediately.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain engaged with their learning.
• Provide a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Follow the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies.
• Report back to teaching staff on student progress and lesson outcomes.

No lesson planning or marking is required.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with young people in a school, college, youth work, coaching, or similar setting.
• Confident managing groups of students aged 11–16.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Flexible, professional, and adaptable.
• A genuine passion for supporting education.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable (or willingness to obtain one).
