Simply Education is working with a successful secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent seeking a confident and motivated Cover Supervisor to join their team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supervising classes during teacher absence
• Delivering pre-planned lesson materials
• Managing classroom behaviour and promoting engagement
• Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Maintaining a positive learning environment
• Providing lesson feedback to teaching staff
• Building positive and professional relationships with students

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with young people is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence leading groups of students
• Professional and resilient approach
• Ability to maintain high expectations
• Genuine interest in education and supporting young people
• Graduates, sports coaches, youth workers and teaching assistants are encouraged to apply
