Duties as Cover Supervisor:- Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Ensuring students remain focused and on task throughout lessons
- Providing support and guidance where appropriate
- Recording attendance and reporting any concerns
- Providing feedback to teaching staff on lesson outcomes and student behaviour
Ideal Cover Supervisor:- Experience working with children or young people is desirable
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Confidence leading groups of students in a classroom setting
- Organised, adaptable, and professional approach
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
