Cover Supervisor – Long Term temporary and ongoing, starting September 2026

Duties as Cover Supervisor:
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Ensuring students remain focused and on task throughout lessons
  • Providing support and guidance where appropriate
  • Recording attendance and reporting any concerns
  • Providing feedback to teaching staff on lesson outcomes and student behaviour
Ideal Cover Supervisor:
  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Confidence leading groups of students in a classroom setting
  • Organised, adaptable, and professional approach
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
