Supply Teach is recruiting a Cover Supervisor to work in local schools. Earn money, build your CV and explore a career in teaching while making a difference to young people.

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll supervise classes when teachers are absent, helping pupils complete work that has already been set.

Responsibilities

• Explain the prepared lessons and keep pupils focused.

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

• Follow safeguarding procedures.

• Share feedback with school staff after lessons.

Requirements

This Cover Supervisor role suits someone who is:

• Confident speaking to groups and interested in working with young people.

• Reliable, organised and calm under pressure.

• Available for the full school day, 8:15am–3:15pm, on their chosen weekdays.

You don’t need a teaching qualification. Experience in tutoring, coaching, mentoring, youth work or volunteering is useful.
