TeacherActive is working with a fantastic secondary school in the heart of the Sittingbourne community that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from September.

• Experience working with young people in an educational, coaching, mentoring or youth work setting
• Strong behaviour management skills and the confidence to lead a classroom
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• A calm, adaptable and professional approach
• A degree or specialist subject knowledge is desirable but not essential

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Encouraging students to engage with their learning and complete the work set
• Providing feedback to teaching staff following each lesson
• Supporting the school's inclusive ethos and high expectations for all learners
