Cover Supervisor

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of welcoming mainstream secondary schools across Leeds, looking to recruit enthusiastic Secondary Cover Supervisors. These schools are committed to creating positive learning environments where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential through high expectations, inclusivity and a supportive school community.

The schools are looking to appoint a Secondary Cover Supervisor for a September start on either a day-to-day or long-term basis. The successful Secondary Cover Supervisor will deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring excellent classroom management and maintaining a productive learning environment throughout the school day.

The successful Secondary Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with secondary-aged students in a school setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• The ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A positive, proactive and flexible approach
