Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced classroom professionals looking for flexible work across a range of schools.
The RoleAs a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring pupils remain engaged, focused and on task. You will follow prepared lesson plans, manage classroom behaviour effectively and provide a positive learning environment.
You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of Sheffield schools, gaining valuable experience in different educational settings while enjoying the flexibility to choose the work that suits you.
We Are Looking For- Previous experience leading a classroom is essential
- A relevant qualification in education, teaching, childcare or a related subject
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- The confidence to lead classes independently
- The ability to follow lesson plans and deliver clear instructions
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A calm, professional and adaptable approach
- A genuine commitment to supporting pupils' learning and progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
