Are you looking for flexible work in secondary schools in Dover? We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to support schools across Dover and the surrounding areas on a daily supply basis.

Cover Supervisor work is ideal for anyone who enjoys working with young people but wants the flexibility to choose when they work. Whether you're looking for a few days a week, regular work throughout the school term or a role that fits around other commitments, we can discuss opportunities based on your availability.

You'll be responsible for supervising students when their usual teacher is unavailable, ensuring that pre-prepared work is completed and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising classes across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Delivering pre-set work provided by the classroom teacher
• Managing classroom behaviour confidently
• Supporting students with their learning
• Maintaining a calm and productive learning environment
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures

You won't be expected to plan lessons or mark students' work, making cover supervision a great alternative to teaching for those who want to work in schools without the full responsibilities of a teacher.
