We are currently looking for confident and reliable Cover Supervisors in Folkestone to work across local secondary schools on a daily supply basis.
This is a fantastic option for candidates who want to work in education while retaining control over their availability. You could work regularly throughout the week or simply pick up work on the days that suit you.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into the classroom when a teacher is absent and supervise students through their scheduled lesson.
You'll be responsible for:
- Supervising secondary school classes
- Ensuring students complete the work provided
- Maintaining positive behaviour and classroom expectations
- Answering basic questions and supporting students where appropriate
- Creating a safe and focused learning environment
- Reporting any issues to the relevant member of staff
There is no requirement to create lesson plans or mark work, allowing you to focus on classroom supervision and student engagement.
