We are recruiting for a number of positions across Slough, Berkshire, including opportunities within Primary, Secondary and Specialist Educational Needs provisions. Whether you are seeking daily supply, short-term placements or longer-term assignments, there are opportunities to suit a range of availability and experience.
What you'll be doing...
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play an important role in ensuring pupils remain engaged throughout the school day by:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons provided by teaching staff.
- Managing classroom behaviour using each school's behaviour policy.
- Encouraging pupils to remain focused and complete set work.
- Providing support to individuals and small groups where appropriate.
- Recording lesson outcomes and providing clear handover notes.
- Promoting a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Working across a range of curriculum subjects depending on the setting.
What we're looking for...
Successful applicants will demonstrate:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar environment.
- Confidence leading groups of pupils independently.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to adapt quickly to different classrooms.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- The right to work in the UK.
