Salary: £110 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Secondary School in the Vale of Glamorgan who are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor. The school provides education to secondary-aged pupils and is looking for a confident and reliable individual who can provide effective classroom cover.

The school is looking to take on a Cover Supervisor on a temporary basis until October half term, providing general cover across a range of subjects. Work will be left by the class teacher, and the successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for supervising pupils, ensuring they remain on task and maintaining positive classroom behaviour.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils
• Experience supervising or supporting pupils within a classroom environment
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Confidence working across a range of subjects
• A positive and adaptable approach
