Veritas Education are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in the Wigan area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in education, or for those seeking flexible work supporting local schools.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the classroom teacher
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a focused learning environment
• Support students across KS3 and KS4
• Ensure work is completed and provide feedback to teaching staff

We're looking for confident and adaptable individuals who:

• Have experience working with young people (schools, coaching, youth work, etc.)
• Possess strong behaviour management skills
• Are confident leading a classroom independently
• Are reliable, flexible and professional
• Hold (or are willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service

• Graduates considering a career in teaching
• Experienced teaching assistants ready to step up
• Cover supervisors / unqualified teachers
• Individuals with transferable skills (e.g. sports coaches, youth workers)
