Veritas Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to support a range of secondary schools across Wigan. With the new academic year underway, we have regular opportunities available for individuals seeking flexible day-to-day and short-term supply work.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged with the work provided and maintaining a positive learning environment.

• Deliver pre-set work to students across a variety of subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Support students in their learning and engagement
• Gain experience in a range of secondary school settings
• Flexible working patterns to suit your availability

• Have experience working with young people in education, coaching, youth work, mentoring, or similar roles
• Be confident managing groups of students
• Have strong communication and organisational skills
• Be adaptable, professional, and reliable
• Hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
