Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools

Location: Stafford, Staffordshire 
Hours: Full Time (Monday to Friday)
Salary: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)

Are you looking for a rewarding full-time role in education? We are seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools in Staffordshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain engaged in their learning.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.
• Support students to complete the work set by teaching staff.
• Create a positive, safe, and productive learning environment.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience working with young people, ideally in a school or educational setting.
• Are confident managing groups of secondary-aged students.
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Is adaptable, enthusiastic, and professional.
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check and relevant safeguarding clearances.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
