The Role:
Cover Supervisor positions in secondary schools
Opportunities available from September 2026
Flexible working - you choose your availability
Work anywhere from 1 day per week to 5 days per week
Roles available across Staffordshire
Excellent daily rates of pay
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll supervise pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher, helping to maintain a positive learning environment and ensuring students stay on task.
This Role is Perfect For:
Aspiring teachers looking to gain classroom experience before applying for a PGCE or other teacher training qualification
University students looking for flexible work around their studies
Individuals returning to work who need flexibility around childcare
Sports coaches, youth workers, teaching assistants, mentors or anyone with experience working with young people
We're Looking For:
You don't need to be a qualified teacher, but you must have experience working with children or young people, such as:
Schools
Youth work
Sports coaching or clubs
Holiday clubs
Scout or Guide groups
Mentoring or tutoring
Residential care or similar settings
You'll also need:
Confidence leading a classroom
Excellent communication skills
A positive and professional attitude
A passion for supporting young people's education
