Position: Cover Supervisors
Location: Melton Mowbray
Start Date: Immediate
Competitive Pay: £95 - £120 per day
Age Group: KS3/KS4
Contract: Full-Time/Part-Time
About the Role:
- Lead and supervise classes in the absence of regular teachers.
- Maintain a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.
- Support students who need extra help with their work, ensuring they grasp essential concepts to improve their academic progress, exam results, and coursework.
- Collaborate with the talented teaching staff within the Mowbray Education Trust.
- Deliver high-quality lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
- Support students in small groups and 1:1 sessions, focusing on areas they find challenging.
- Help improve academic progress, exam results, and coursework for students.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the school’s vibrant teaching community.
- Hold a degree or similar relevant qualification
- Passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
- Experience working in a classroom or tutoring environment is desirable.
- Ability to work with students on a 1:1, group, and class basis.
- A full enhanced DBS check (can be processed through Smile Education).
- Confident in presenting lessons and managing a classroom environment.
