Credit Controller in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire

Your new role

You'll take ownership of an allocated sales ledger, proactively managing outstanding debt, improving cash collection and building strong relationships with a varied customer base.

• Managing an allocated sales ledger and aged debt
• Proactively collecting outstanding balances by phone, email and customer portals
• Investigating and resolving invoice and account queries
• Completing account reconciliations
• Identifying potential bad debt risks and escalating where appropriate
• Working closely with internal teams and external customers to ensure timely payment

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous B2B Credit Control experience
• Strong cash collection and aged debt management skills
• Confident communication and negotiation skills
• Good Excel and reconciliation experience
• Experience dealing with larger corporate customers
• Customer billing/payment portal experience would be advantageous
