Credit Controller in Loughborough, Leicestershire

RECfinancial is recruiting on behalf of a large and well-established Leicester employer for a Credit Control & Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their busy finance team.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in credit control, accounts receivable or sales ledger who enjoys building relationships, resolving queries and ensuring outstanding debt is collected efficiently.

• Managing commercial and customer debt ledgers
• Raising invoices and setting up customer accounts
• Chasing outstanding payments via phone and email
• Resolving account and payment queries
• Allocating daily receipts and reconciling accounts
• Managing debt recovery processes and external collection agencies
• Monitoring shared finance inboxes and responding to queries
• Supporting wider finance operations when required

• Previous experience within Credit Control, Accounts Receivable or Sales Ledger
• Confident communicator with strong customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
• Comfortable working with finance systems and high volumes of transactions
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
