Credit Controller - BD10 (Bradford)
Salary: £27,000 | Full time | Hybrid
We're recruiting a Credit Controller for a growing business based in BD10, offering hybrid working.
The Role
- Manage a ledger of customer accounts, chasing outstanding debt via phone, email and letter
- Allocate cash and reconcile customer accounts
- Resolve invoice queries and disputes in a timely manner, liaising with sales/ops teams
- Produce aged debt reports and update management on collection status
- Set up new accounts and carry out credit checks/credit limit reviews
- Escalate problem accounts appropriately, including referrals to legal/collections where needed
About You
- Previous credit control experience essential
- Confident, professional telephone manner
- Strong Excel skills; experience with an accounting/ERP system (e.g. Sage, SAP, Xero)
- Organised, resilient, and comfortable managing a busy ledger
- Studying AAT or CICM desirable but not essential
