Credit Controller in Solihull

SF Recruitment is recruiting for a Credit Controller to join a finance team in a hybrid working opportunity.
This role would suit someone with previous credit control experience and a working knowledge of SAP, who enjoys taking ownership of a ledger and building strong customer relationships.

You'll play a key part in keeping cash coming into the business, resolving queries and ensuring overdue balances are followed through to resolution.

Your responsibilities will include:
Managing your own ledger, chasing outstanding payments by telephone and email.
Investigating invoice queries and working with internal teams to resolve payment delays.
Reconciling customer accounts and maintaining accurate records on SAP.
Agreeing payment dates, monitoring commitments and escalating overdue accounts where required.
Producing aged debt updates and highlighting potential collection risks.

What we're looking for:
Previous experience in credit control, including using SAP.
A confident communicator who can build relationships while having firm conversations about payment.
An organised, proactive approach to managing a busy ledger.
Good Excel skills and attention to detail.
