Credit Controller Social Housing (Contract) in City of London

Credit Controller Social Housing - 6mths FTC - OUR CLIENT are a growing housing / property management company who have been building and creating communities for over 30 years. They are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team to support the delivery of a responsive and resident‑focused income management service on the 6 months contract basis.

As a Credit Controller, you will be the person residents turn to for queries, support early arrears intervention, process payments and keep case records accurate. The main duties will be to:

• Act as the first point of contact for rent and service charge enquiries.
• Support residents with payment options and affordable repayment arrangements.
• Monitor accounts and take early action where arrears arise.
• Process payments and maintain accurate, up-to-date case records.
• Issue reminders and follow up outstanding balances professionally.
• Refer residents to specialist financial or support services when appropriate.

ABOUT YOU

As a Credit Controller, you must have:

• Real Estate or Housing experience.
• Good customer service experience.
• Confident communication.
• Calm, empathetic approach.
