Credit Controllers in Southampton

Our accountancy and finance recruitment team is partnering with an established multi-site services organisation based in Southampton. With a diverse customer base and a collaborative culture, the business is seeking a Credit Controller to join its finance team on a temporary basis. The role offers hybrid working, varied responsibilities and the opportunity to contribute to an important area of the organisation’s financial operations.

What will the Credit Controller role involve?

• Support the finance team with the effective management of customer accounts across business and individual customers
• Maintain regular contact with customers by telephone, email and written correspondence to encourage prompt payment
• Work closely with operational teams to investigate account queries and help resolve outstanding balances

Suitable Candidate for the Credit Controller vacancy:

• Previous experience in credit control, customer service, accounts administration or a similar environment
• Confident communicator who can handle payment discussions professionally and sensitively
• Organised, attentive to detail and comfortable managing varied customer accounts
