This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in Credit Risk, Credit Control or a similar finance role who enjoys working with financial information, assessing risk and supporting commercial decisions.
The role offers the opportunity to develop your analytical skills, gain exposure to more complex credit assessments and work closely with experienced members of the finance team.
Working closely with the Head of Credit, you'll be responsible for:

- Assessing customer creditworthiness and identifying potential financial risks.
- Monitoring credit exposures and supporting decisions around credit limits.
- Assisting with annual and ad-hoc credit reviews.
- Preparing monthly credit risk reports and management information.
- Identifying trends, potential risks and areas requiring further investigation.
- Liaising with customers/members and internal finance teams to gather information and resolve queries.
- Supporting improvements to credit processes, controls and reporting.
We're looking for someone with:
- Previous experience in Credit Risk, Credit Control or a similar finance-related role.
- A good understanding of financial information, with an interest in developing financial analysis skills.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Confidence communicating with internal stakeholders and external customers.
- A proactive, organised approach and willingness to learn and develop.
- Experience reviewing financial statements or management accounts would be advantageous, although candidates with a strong Credit Control background and an interest in moving into Credit Risk will also be considered.
- A CICM qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.
This would suit someone looking to take the next step in their finance career, moving into a more analytical and commercially focused position with the opportunity to develop their experience in Credit Risk.
