Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a Crisis Management Centre (CMC) Analyst to join the Crisis Management Centre supporting one of the most prestigious financial services environments in the City of London.

Working as part of a dedicated team, you will be responsible for the real-time monitoring of internal incidents, external events, and emerging risks across the EMEA region. This is a fast-paced operational role requiring strong analytical skills, sound judgement, and the ability to communicate effectively during critical situations.

The successful candidate will support crisis response, intelligence gathering, and business continuity activities while maintaining a high level of situational awareness. You will play a key role in identifying, assessing, escalating, and managing incidents, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders and supporting organisational resilience.

Working Pattern

This role operates on a 24/7 rotating shift pattern across a six-week cycle and includes:

  • Early shifts: 7:00am to 3:00pm
  • Late shifts: Approximately 1:00pm to 9:00pm
  • 12-hour day shifts: 7:00am to 7:00pm
  • Night shifts: 7:00pm to 7:00am

The rota includes a mixture of weekdays, nights, and weekends. Overnight shifts include monitoring and reporting responsibilities, therefore candidates must be comfortable working night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor internal and external incidents across the EMEA region and maintain situational awareness.
  • Identify, assess, escalate, and manage incidents in line with established procedures.
  • Support crisis response activities, including preparation, coordination, communication, and recovery efforts.
  • Deliver timely updates and communications to leadership and key stakeholders during incidents.
  • Assess risks relating to business travel and monitor relevant security threats.
  • Gather, evaluate, and analyse intelligence from multiple sources to identify emerging risks and trends.
  • Conduct open-source research (OSINT) to support threat detection and situational awareness.
  • Support business continuity, resilience planning, investigations, and the maintenance of crisis management documentation.

  • Strong understanding of geopolitics, global security, and current affairs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience within intelligence or security environments.
  • Previous shift work or night shift experience.
  • Additional languages relevant to the EMEA region.
