Shutdown Supervisor | Weybridge, Surrey
Hours: Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:00 or 09:00–18:00
We are looking for a Shutdown Supervisor to join a major facilities management contract supporting a large Central Government site in Weybridge.
This is a key role responsible for planning and coordinating planned maintenance shutdowns across 20 high-containment facilities, working closely with the client, engineering teams, contractors and project teams.
Responsibilities for a Shutdown Supervisor
- Plan and coordinate biannual maintenance shutdowns across a safety-critical environment
- Manage M&E, HVAC, BMS, PPM, reactive and remedial works during shutdown periods
- Coordinate contractors, obtain quotations, raise POs and review RAMS
- Lead stakeholder meetings through to completion
- Manage documentation, reports, CAFM information and assurance records
Requirements
- Engineering/FM background with strong planned maintenance experience
- Experience managing contractors and coordinating planned works or shutdowns
- Good understanding of M&E services, ideally including HVAC and BMS
- Experience working within a compliance-led or critical environment
- Strong knowledge of RAMS, risk assessments, H&S and statutory compliance
- City & Guilds Level 3 / NVQ equivalent engineering qualification
- 18th Edition
- Good CAFM and Microsoft Office skills
