Shutdown Supervisor | Weybridge, Surrey

Hours: Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:00 or 09:00–18:00

We are looking for a Shutdown Supervisor to join a major facilities management contract supporting a large Central Government site in Weybridge.

This is a key role responsible for planning and coordinating planned maintenance shutdowns across 20 high-containment facilities, working closely with the client, engineering teams, contractors and project teams.

Responsibilities for a Shutdown Supervisor

  • Plan and coordinate biannual maintenance shutdowns across a safety-critical environment
  • Manage M&E, HVAC, BMS, PPM, reactive and remedial works during shutdown periods
  • Coordinate contractors, obtain quotations, raise POs and review RAMS
  • Lead stakeholder meetings through to completion
  • Manage documentation, reports, CAFM information and assurance records

Requirements

  • Engineering/FM background with strong planned maintenance experience
  • Experience managing contractors and coordinating planned works or shutdowns
  • Good understanding of M&E services, ideally including HVAC and BMS
  • Experience working within a compliance-led or critical environment
  • Strong knowledge of RAMS, risk assessments, H&S and statutory compliance
  • City & Guilds Level 3 / NVQ equivalent engineering qualification
  • 18th Edition
  • Good CAFM and Microsoft Office skills
