Hill McGlynn Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading international developer of hyperscale AI and mission-critical data centre infrastructure who are seeking an experienced CSA Construction Manager to join their growing team in Norway.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CSA Construction Manager to join a forward-thinking organisation delivering some of Europe's most advanced hyperscale data centre projects. You will play a key role in managing all civil, structural and architectural construction activities from enabling works through to completion and handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

The Role
As a CSA Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing all civil, structural and architectural construction activities across major hyperscale and mission-critical data centre projects. You will work closely with project teams, contractors, consultants and client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of complex construction packages within a highly regulated and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing all CSA construction activities from enabling works through to completion and handover.
  • Coordinating civil, structural and architectural contractors, subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
  • Managing site activities including earthworks, foundations, reinforced concrete, steel structures, building envelope, roofing, cladding and internal architectural finishes.
  • Reviewing construction drawings, specifications, technical submittals and method statements.
  • Monitoring project progress and ensuring delivery against programme milestones.
  • Managing quality inspections, snagging and close-out activities.
  • Working closely with project management, design, QA/QC and commissioning teams.
  • Ensuring all CSA works comply with project specifications, design requirements, health and safety standards and quality expectations.
  • Identifying construction risks and implementing solutions to maintain programme and project performance.
  • Producing progress reports and maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a CSA Construction Manager on hyperscale or mission-critical data centre projects is essential.
  • Extensive experience managing civil, structural and architectural packages on large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of data centre construction, including foundations, structural steel, reinforced concrete, building envelope and architectural finishes.
  • Experience managing multiple contractors and subcontractors within complex construction environments.
  • Strong understanding of quality control, inspections, snagging and project handover processes.
  • Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance construction environment.
