A leading European data centre construction and delivery organisation is seeking an experienced CSA Construction Manager to join its growing team in Finland.

The successful candidate will oversee the Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) scope on a large-scale, fast-track data centre project, managing construction teams, subcontractors, design coordination, programme delivery, quality, and site operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Civil, Structural, and Architectural work packages, including the CSA engineering, supervision, and construction teams.
  • Coordinate procurement, design, engineering, construction, and installation activities to ensure delivery against project requirements and programme.
  • Develop and manage the CSA delivery strategy, scopes of work, subcontract packages, and construction plans.
  • Manage subcontractors and supply chain partners, monitoring progress, resources, quality, safety, and performance against programme.
  • Coordinate with design teams to ensure construction information, drawings, and technical details are issued in line with programme requirements.
  • Review designs and drawings, identify discrepancies or compliance issues, and coordinate resolution of technical and construction challenges.
  • Manage site Health & Safety, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, and environmental requirements in collaboration with the relevant project teams.
  • Manage project scheduling, sequencing, and short-term planning, including 4- and 12-week look-ahead programmes.
  • Chair subcontractor progress meetings and participate in project, design, planning, commercial, and coordination meetings.
  • Monitor subcontractor documentation, project records, QA files, safety files, punch lists, and handover requirements.
  • Review setting-out information and ensure builders' work requirements associated with MEP services are properly coordinated.
  • Provide regular progress reporting to the project management team and highlight risks, delays, variations, and required actions.
  • Support commercial management by identifying and communicating variations, scope changes, and potential contractual impacts.
  • Drive a strong culture of safety, quality, environmental compliance, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the CSA team.
  • Manage project close-out and handover activities to ensure all CSA works and associated documentation are completed to the required standards.

Requirements

  • Relevant construction, civil engineering, structural engineering, or related degree qualification.
  • Minimum 7 years' CSA construction experience, ideally within large-scale, complex, or mission-critical projects.
  • Proven experience successfully managing Civil, Structural, and Architectural work packages.
  • Strong understanding of construction programming, sequencing, subcontractor management, design coordination, and site delivery.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
