Danny Sullivan Group is looking for an experienced CSCS Groundworker to join a major long-term construction project at RAF Brize Norton.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work throughout 2026 and beyond, working on significant Ministry of Defence infrastructure projects at one of the UK's largest RAF stations.

  • Role: CSCS Groundworker

  • Location: RAF Brize Norton

  • Rate: £16.75 per hour PAYE

  • Working Pattern: 7 days on / 2 days off

  • Pay: Weekly

  • Duration: Long-term / ongoing



About the Role as a CSCS Groundworker

As a CSCS Groundworker, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of groundworks and general construction duties safely and efficiently across the site.

Your duties will include:

  • Carrying out general groundworks and construction duties

  • Preparing and levelling ground for construction activities

  • Excavating, backfilling and reinstating areas as required

  • Installing drainage, ducting, kerbs and other groundworks

  • Working around heavy plant and construction machinery

  • Assisting with concrete works and foundations where required

  • Using hand tools and equipment safely and effectively

  • Working from drawings, specifications and site instructions where required

  • Supporting machine operators and the wider site team

  • Maintaining safe and tidy working areas

  • Identifying and reporting hazards and unsafe conditions

  • Following site health & safety procedures at all times

  • Working in accordance with MOD site requirements



Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Valid CSCS Card

  • Previous experience working as a CSCS Groundworker on a construction, civil engineering or infrastructure site

  • Experience carrying out general groundworks

  • Good understanding of construction site health & safety

  • Ability to work safely around plant, machinery and other site personnel

  • Good communication skills

  • Reliable and punctual approach to work

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a busy site team

Experience in drainage, kerbing, concreting, foundations or other civil engineering groundworks would be advantageous.
